Decembeard is our annual sponsored beard grow, where men bravely ditch their shaving routines and grow a beard to raise awareness of bowel cancer and fund vital research to stop bowel cancer. Thank you to everyone who took part in Decembeard 2015 for Bowel Cancer UK. We are delighted so many of you chose to grow your beards and have really enjoyed seeing your photos and hearing about your progress. Bowel cancer is the fourth most common cancer in the UK. Every 15 minutes in the UK someone is diagnosed with bowel cancer. That’s nearly 42,000 people every year. Around 290,000 people living in the UK today have been diagnosed with bowel cancer. Already bearded? Dye, ditch or decorate your beard and join in the fun. We are determined to save lives from bowel cancer but we can’t do this without you.
