What is in the 2026 programme?

The current official listings include:

  • Exporting Horizons: Innovation for Growth: an opening event in Manchester on Monday 9 November.
  • Export Action Planning: an online workshop on Friday 13 November, listed for 11am–1pm.
  • Export Support Hub: opportunities during the week to arrange meetings with export-support organisations and experts.
  • Business Academy: online sessions covering a range of business and international-growth subjects.

These are programme examples, not a complete timetable. Check the official page and each booking link for current times, eligibility, availability, costs and joining instructions.

International Trade Week 2026 runs from Monday 9 to Friday 13 November. This UK government-led programme connects UK businesses with information, events and support for selling internationally.

The official 2026 programme includes activity for first-time exporters and businesses already trading overseas. Use the individual event listings to find sessions relevant to your products, services and stage of development.

How to choose a useful session

Start with the next decision your business needs to make. A company investigating its first overseas customer may need a different discussion from a business reviewing an established distribution arrangement.

Write a short question before browsing the programme. For example: “What information do we need before selecting a market?” or “Which specialist should we speak to about this product?” That makes it easier to judge a session’s relevance than registering for everything with “export” in the title.

Prepare a one-page business brief

If you are joining a workshop or an advisory meeting, prepare a simple working note:

  • What your business sells and who currently buys it.
  • Which market or opportunity you want to understand.
  • What you already know and what remains uncertain.
  • One decision you want help progressing.
  • Who will own the follow-up after the event.

Keep confidential customer or commercial information out of public discussion unless sharing it is appropriate. A group session can help identify questions, but it cannot automatically resolve every business’s contractual, tax or regulatory circumstances.

Finding events and registering

Use the Business Academy event directory and the partner programme alongside the main campaign page. Check whether an activity is online or in person and whether it requires a separate registration.

A mention of an event in the national programme is not a booking confirmation. Save the organiser’s joining information and note any time zone when adding it to a shared calendar.

Make the week lead to a next step

After a session, record what you learned, which questions remain and the next person or service to contact. Choose a realistic follow-up date with your team. Attendance can inform a business decision; it does not guarantee a sale, a suitable market or export success.
