Planning a Wear It Pink day at work

You can keep the event small. A dress-down day, a short quiz or a shared coffee break gives colleagues a clear way to join in. Breast Cancer Now provides a fundraising pack when you register, and only one person needs to register for a workplace.

These planning suggestions can help keep the day organised:

• Name a coordinator. Give one person responsibility for the date, donation link and final total.
• Choose one main activity. A short event that colleagues can fit around their work is easier to organise than several competing fundraisers.
• Make remote participation possible. Share the same donation link with colleagues who will not be in the office.
• Keep participation optional. People can support the fundraiser without buying an outfit or discussing a personal experience of cancer.
• Close the loop. Thank everyone afterwards, report the amount raised and arrange for the donations to reach the charity.

What does Wear It Pink raise money for?

Wear It Pink raises funds for Breast Cancer Now. The charity combines breast cancer research with support for people affected by the disease. Taking part at school
